OnLink launches live exchange-rate pages for eight currencies
OnLink now publishes a live, continuously-updated exchange rate for every currency it supports, with a transparent comparison against banks and money-transfer providers.
OnLink today launched a set of live exchange-rate pages covering the eight currencies it supports, giving anyone — customer or not — a real, continuously updated rate for sending money to and from Kenya.
What launched
Each page shows the current mid-market-derived rate OnLink offers, a 30-day history chart, and a side-by-side comparison with what banks and money-transfer providers charge for the same corridor. The pages update automatically as rates move, so the number you see is the number you get when you transfer.
You can see the flagship page for the US Dollar to Kenyan Shilling corridor at our USD to KES converter.
Why it matters
Exchange rates are where a lot of the real cost of sending money hides. By publishing our live rate — and showing how it compares — we make that cost visible before you commit to a transfer. There is no separate "OnLink rate" for customers and a different one advertised publicly; it is the same live rate.
What's next
We are expanding the corridors we cover and adding the same transparency to recurring transfers. Follow OnLink News for updates.
